Short-Term Volunteer Internship at the University of Nevada, Reno

Dates:  Summer 2010

Description:

In Reno, summer is the busiest time of year on campus with international students...so the ISI team is seeking an individual who wants to get a taste of international student ministry by joining their student outreach as an intern during the summer months. 

This internship will involve:

R meeting international students and developing relationships with them

Rlearning cross-cultural evangelism

Rconnecting internationals with other Christians

Rvolunteer development and donor care. 

The goal is not only to utilize an intern to reach students in Reno, but to also give him/her lots of one-on-one training so they can return home better equipped to reach international students, develop leaders and donors, and grow a ministry. 

Cost:  Food and Transportation Costs (Housing will be provided at no cost in the international student home near the university.)
